Barbara ten Berge

Director, PR and Marketing

Barbara has a Masters degree in Adult Education and Public Relations from Leiden University and a BA in Museum Studies from the Reinwardt Academy. She started her career in a Dutch telecommunications company.

In 2002 she joined HE Space Operations to work as a communication officer for the Directorate of Human Spaceflight at ESA-ESTEC. She had several positions in communication and education in this Directorate, working for instance on the ISS Education Kits and the education activities during André Kuipers Delta mission.

This knowledge and experience she puts to good use in her current position. What she really enjoys about her job is the diversity of tasks - Barbara meets a lot of people. During her time at HE Space Operations, she has became a mother of three.
