On 11 June WIA and the VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ will organize an ‘Aerospace Women’s Day’. It is a special day organized for female aerospace (young) professionals in the aerospace industry and aerospace students. The congress will have the theme ‘Bridging the gap: from student to professional’.
Lectures and workshops will provide you with insight into the expectations of (your) potential professional career paths, how to get the most out of it and how to improve your social skills. Three inspiring women will tell you about their career: what did they expect from being a professional, how did they choose where they wanted to work, what difficulties did they experience and how did they deal with them? After the three lectures you will set your own learning goals and participate in the workshops: how to prepare for a job interview, how to build up your network, how you can use flirting in a professional environment and much more.
The Aerospace Women’s Day will start at 08.30 at the faculty of Industrial Design, Delft University of Technology. The program ends at 12.30 after which a lunch is provided until 13.30. Participation in the Aerospace Women’s Day is free for both students and professionals, this includes lunch. The complete program is attached to this email.
