Created in 2009, ESSP is a young and dynamic company, a pan European service provider, certified by EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency) to deliver safety-critical services. Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services, among which, the main one is, the EGNOS service (the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service), on behalf of the EUSPA (the European Agency for Space).
We are looking for anĀ EGNOS Performance EngineerĀ who will beĀ in charge of monitoring, analysing, and reporting the performance of the EGNOS system using dedicated Mission Performance tools. The role supports the operational monitoring of the system and contributes to the assessment of system performance, anomaly investigation, and service reporting. For these activities, we are looking for someone with at leastĀ 2 years of experience in satellite navigation (GNSS).Ā 1 year of experience in a field relevant to EGNOS PerformanceĀ is an asset, with aĀ very good level of EnglishĀ (minimum B2).
Your main responsibilities/activities will be:
–Ā Use the Mission Performance tools to process EGNOS data and monitor EGNOS system performance,
– Perform first-level performance analysis, support anomaly investigations affecting the EGNOS service,
– Contribution to the daily Service & Performance Monitoring Board,
– Preparation of periodic reports such as the Monthly Performance public report,
– Preparation of ad-hoc performance reports mainly based on Mission performance tools outputs,
– Coordinate with other engineers to incorporate specific analyses into routine monitoring activities,
– Contribute to performance reports requiring support for other engineers of the Unit,
– Support EGNOS operational activities through the monitoring of the performances,
– Analyse the impact of planned and unplanned operational activities on EGNOS system performance using dedicated tools (including simulators) and report the results through the appropriate channels,
– Collaborate in maintenance tasks of the EGNOS archive and performance tools,
– Publish performance information on the User Support Website,
– Ensure backups of mission performance data.

Job Requirements:
