We are expanding our teams in the Space sector to take on Satellite data processing projects.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will manage projects related with satellite data processing. You will be responsible for:

  • Coordination with other managers at the level of the group
  • Prioritization of the work to be performed by the team members across projects related with satellite data processing
  • Economic control of the projects portfolio budget
  • Offers and proposal preparation
  • Definition of technological solutions
  • Customer and subcontractors management (meetings, follow-up, commercial activities etc)
  • Project risk control
  • Generation of projects documentation and reporting.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for a project manager with background and interest in space projects. Main requirements are:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (or science/technology)
  • Knowledge and experience in space sector projects related with satellite data processing performed for example for ESA, EUMETSAT, POLSA, EUSPA, European Comission or other clients
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing of several projects and engineering contractors, supervising and monitoring projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and best overall value
  • Experience leading multiple weekly meetings with internal teams to follow-up the plan and status of the projects
  • Experience investigating technical details and leading problem resolution
  • Experience leading in critical path schedule items
  • Leadership and conflict management skills
  • Team spirit approach and excellent communication skills
  • Customer orientation

We will also value:

  • Experience in commercial opportunities identification and offers preparation in space market or defence
  • SW design and development
  • C/C++, Python, Linux
  • Continuous integration development environments (GIT, Jenkins, SonarQ)
  • Knowledge of Redmine (or other project management tool)
