Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s technical strategy in France, supporting both strategic and operational activities across national and European programs.
The role will include project management and coordination of National and European projects, ensuring proper follow-up of ongoing activities and alignment with program objectives. The candidate will also be responsible for representing AIKO in front of partners, clients, and institutions, strengthening the company’s positioning in the French and European space ecosystem.
The candidate will also contribute to technical business development, by understanding market needs, anticipating future trends in relation to AIKO’s technologies, adapting the company’s strategy, and supporting the preparation and writing of competitive proposals.
Tasks
- Work closely with the French Country Manager, CTO and AIKO’s product managers to define and implement the French technical strategy.
- Act as a technical representative, supporting the business team in customer and partner interactions.
- Manage ongoing projects with ESA, CNES, the European Commission, and other institutions.
- Supervise and mentor ongoing PhD research activities.
- Provide technical support in drafting proposals and bids.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in space systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of the space sector.
- Experience with project management and technical leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and representation skills.
- Native French speaker.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
