The WIA Europe networking event at COSPAR turned out to be a great success with over ninety people pre-registering but more than two hundred actually joining on the day itself.
Claudia Kessler, WIA Europe Chair, and Andrea Boese, WIA Europe Director of International Relations gave a brief welcome speech to the international audience.
Lancaster cosmetics offered to kindly sponsor the event with two hundred and thirty beauty bags. They were handed out to the women present and they proved to be so popular that the WIA Europe team had run out of them within the first twenty minutes!
Moreover, we had the pleasure to welcome new members to the organisation who had signed up on the spot. Lots of great, new ideas came up during this event which will be explored in the coming period.
