WIA-Europe events at the IAF Spring Meetings in Paris
On Tuesday March 24, WIA-Europe will organise several events during the IAF Spring Meetings in Paris.
08.00 – 09.30; WIA-Europe Breakfast and Award Ceremony
15.00 – 17.00; Panel Summit ‘Women involved in the Rosetta Mission’
Claudia Kessler (Chair of WIA-Europe) will be the moderator of the Panel Summit.
Speakers will be:
Simonetta di Pippo (WIA-Europe President)
Elsa Montagnon (ESA Deputy Flight Director for Rosetta)
Amalia Ercoli Finzi (responsible for the driller of the Philae lander)
The panel is meant to highlight the role and involvement of women in such high-profile technical projects like Rosetta.

Furthermore, on March 24, WIA-Europe will organize a Board of Directors meeting and for the first time a meeting of leaders of all our 8 Local Groups, in order to provide a platform for networking and face-to-face communication of this diverse community.
