Edyta Ziomek, DG CNECT, Directorate Cooperation (Unit Stakeholders) will open our networking session presenting the activities of the unit. A special focus will be given to the initiatives Digital Women and Women in Research.
Edyta will also present the recent EC gender rules for the participation in panels: “All-male panels in tech: we say no!” wanted and promoted by DG CNECT Directorate General. the reason behind this rule and how it is applied.
Edyta Ziomek is a policy officer of the stakeholders unit of the DG CNECT at the European Commission. Before her current position, she was responsible for contacts with European universities on behalf of the translation department. Prior to that she worked in service level management at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd in the Warsaw office, where she gained experience of organising IT services for a global organisation.
