Dear WIA-E Members,
I would like to invite you to the inaugural photographic exhibition « Space Girls Space Women – Space through the eyes of women » that will take place on June 29 in Paris, at 15h00, at the Musée d’Arts et Métiers (CNAM). This exhibition has been developed by the Photojournalism Agency Sipa Press with ESA as founding partner, and CNES, the network NEREUS, the GSA, Cité de l’Espace and WIA-E as associated partners.
The event will be inaugurated by
- Jean-Jacques Dordain, ESA Director General
- Miguel Ferro, President of Sipa Press
- Olivier Faron, CNAM General Administraor
- Joel Barre, CNES Delegated General Director
- Claudie Haigneré, Astronaut and special advisor of ESA DG
- Women protagonist of the project.
Among our WIA-E members, Fatoumata Kebe, PhD Student at the Observatory of Paris, is one of the the Space Women and she will be present at the inaugural event in Paris. Please find here the invitation with also details regarding the address of the venue.
