WIA-Europe is pleased to announce that the call for application is now open for the 1st Semester Grants Programme 2020!
Are you interested in attending an aerospace conference or workshop in 2020, and would you like to get your expenses covered? WIA-Europe would like to encourage and support upcoming talent – young professionals and students alike. That is why we encourage you to apply for the WIA-E Grants Programme.
The programme provides a grant of € 1000 to cover attendance at aerospace workshops and conferences and is intended to support young colleagues with their first experiences in presenting a paper in an international context.
The deadline for applications is 31 December 2019!
Applicants should be WIA-Europe members. If you are not yet a member, but would like to join our active and ever-growing community, please send us an e-mail to membership@wia-europe.com. The yearly membership fee for students is € 20.
How to Apply for the WIA-E Grants Programme
Applicants should send a short CV and the abstract of the paper they intend to present to info@wia-europe.org. Papers should be formally accepted by the conference in which they are supposed to be presented, and the letter of acceptance should be e-mailed along with the application. The size of the application package should not exceed 1MB. WIA-Europe will acknowledge the receipt of the application via email.
All submissions related to aerospace disciplines are welcome.
Successful applicants will be informed via e-mail. Along with the grant of € 1000 to support their attendance of a conference or workshop, the winner will also receive a year-long free membership to WIA-Europe, and will be presented on the WIA-E website, in our social media, and the quarterly newsletter. The winner will also have the opportunity to give a short presentation of their work at the next WIA-Europe General Assembly, and to meet with Members of the WIA-E Board.
We are looking forward to receiving your application and invite you to share this opportunity with other motivated individuals in your network.
