The Netherlands Space Society (NVR) and International Institute of Air and Space Law (IIASL) are proud to present the movie “Mercury 13”.
The Apollo era has played an immense role in the development of the space industry. In a very short period of time, a great number of people achieved amazing things.
Because so many things were done in such a short time, some endeavours might not be as well known. Mercury 13 tells just such a story: 13 women that received astronaut training in a time when only men were allowed to fly. Come find out what secrets are still to be learned about this time period in space history!
