Chief Communications Officer, Women In Aerospace Europe
As an experienced communications expert and (copy)writer, Xenia has collaborated with a diverse array of multinational companies, international organisations, and cultural institutions. She earned her BA in Business Translations at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and an MA in Comparative Literature, East European Studies, and North American Studies from Freie Universitaet Berlin. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Organisational Psychology at the University of Liverpool.
Since 2018, Xenia has been applying her expertise to the communications and events programme, directing various initiatives including the WIA-Europe Working Groups, annual events, professional development efforts, and the WIA-Europe Volunteer programme. Acting as the primary liaison for communications and events among WIA-Europe partners, corporate members, and regional networks, she coordinates collaborative communication campaigns, publications, and event programmes that resonate with the WIA-Europe community and beyond.
In addition to this role, Xenia is a dedicated career coach, committed to supporting individuals through transitions, whether they be cultural or career-related. Drawing on her experience as a storyteller and her extensive industry background, Xenia assists individuals in shaping their career narratives and gaining a comprehensive understanding of their capacities and contributions. Specialising in working with professional women, she empowers her clients to realise their full potential and thrive in their chosen fields.
Xenia’s engagement for diversity and inclusion is informed by her unique perspective gained from her vast experience working in multicultural teams and international settings. She actively promotes cultural sensitivity, a global mindset, and adaptability as key pillars of diversity and inclusion within her professional sphere.
