This event with Claudie Haigneré will bring together pupils and WIA-E Toulouse members for a discussion on growing opportunities in the Space sector for women and how gender diversity in science and technology can be a strong lever for developing innovation and performance. Claudie Haigneré will share impressions of her career and the WIA-E Toulouse network will present their goals and action plan. This will be followed by an informal and open discussion. This unique opportunity aims to encourage young people to take up scientific paths and inspire professional women to develop their leadership in their various fields of expertise of the space sector.
WIA-E Toulouse is a network of passionate women and men promoting Gender Diversity in the aerospace sector as a key lever for improving innovation and performance. WIA-E Toulouse local group chaired by Catherine Lambert (CERFACS director) has been created in November 2014 and gathers 50 members and more than 100 followers.
