1st International Space Summer School is now open for applications

Dear all,

we are pleased to inform you that the 1st International Space Summer School will take place in Mol, Belgium this summer.
This Summer School will be organized by Marjan Moreels (scientific coordinator of the programme) and Jolien De Ceuster for administration and logistics.

  • When: June 25 until July 6, 2018
  • Where: SCK•CEN, Mol, Belgium

Target audience: PhD students, post-docs, early-stage researchers and professionals from industry and agencies. A minimum MSc level is required.

Topics: – Space health effects
– Space radiation
– Life support and habitation in space;
– Instrumentation and nuclear energy in space

PhD Grants: Thanks to the financial support received from the EU CONCERT project, SCK•CEN will be able to waive the registration fee of a limited number of PhD students.

Deadline for PhD grant application: May 11, 2018

Deadline for Registration: June 4, 2018 (registrations for specific days is also possible)
