Women in Aerospace Europe is proud to receive the International Astronautical Federation Excellence in ā3G+ā Diversity Award,Ā recognising our efforts to foster Geography, Generation, and Gender diversity across the space sector.
The IAF Excellence in ā3Gā Diversity Award is intended to recognize IAF member organisations (industry, government, academia) and/or individual teams/projects within IAF member organizations worldwide for outstanding contributions to the fostering of ā3Gā (Geography, Generation, Gender) Diversity within the space sector.
This award celebrates not just the work of all the individuals involved in shaping our programmes and initiatives, but the vibrant, inclusive community weāre proud to be part of.
The award was presented at the 2025 International Astronautical Congress in Sydney, Australia, where our President, Luisella Giulicchi received the award.Ā

IAC 2025 Sydney Highlights
At the 3G+ Diversity Luncheon at International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Sydney, Australia, WIA-Europe was proud to receive the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) 3G+ Diversity Award, recognising our ongoing commitment to advancing inclusion, equity, and representation across the European space sector.
Representing the association at the event were:

This award is an important recognition of the collective effort of our entire community – from our regional network leads and digital team members to our many individual contributors and corporate supporters across the industry.
Ā After receiving the IAF Excellence in ā3G+ā Diversity Award, we had the pleasure of connecting with long-time partners and supporters who have shaped the journey of WIA-Europe.
