Non-profit (ANBI) information
Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-Europe) is registered in the Netherlands as a Vereniging (Association) with full legal capacity. We have submitted an application for official ANBI status to the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst).
ANBI stands for Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling, a Dutch Public Benefit Organisation classification. It requires organisations to make key information publicly available and entitles Dutch taxpayers who donate to deduct gifts from their income or corporate tax.

Statutory objective
Our Purpose
According to the Association’s statutes, Women in Aerospace Europe aims to:
Be a networking platform for women in aerospace;
– Attract more women to the aerospace sector;
– Foster the interests of women working in aerospace;
– Improve access of women to leadership positions in aerospace;
– Advance aerospace education;
– Advocate the political commitment to aerospace programmes;
– Recognise achievements of women in aerospace;
– Be an ambassador for aerospace in Europe.
and furthermore to do all that is related or conducive to the above.

How board and staff are paid
Board
Board members of WIA-Europe serve without remuneration for their services. They may be reimbursed only for reasonable expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
Management and staff
Any management or staff are remunerated in line with a responsible, market-conform policy appropriate to a non-profit organisation.
