We are delighted to officially announce the relaunch of the WIA-Europe Switzerland Regional Network, along with the new leaders Dr. Ntorina Antoni and Véronique Glaude.
Véronique Glaude is a senior engineer expert in Radio Regulations for Space Services at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and has been the ITU Representative to the COPUOS and its Sub-Committees since 2018. At the ITU, she coordinates the ITU SpaceExplorer application to improve access to data related to space services. She provides assistance and support to ITU members and actively participates in seminars and World Radiocommunication Conferences related to space services and space sustainability. She joined the ITU in 1999 to work on the regulatory and technical examination of satellite network filings. Véronique has been a member of WIA-Europe since 2014.
Dr. Ntorina Antoni is a lawyer and interdisciplinary researcher working at the intersection of law, innovation, and governance. She holds a PhD in Strategic Management from Eindhoven University of Technology and previously practiced space law in Switzerland. At the European Space Agency (ESA), she contributed to space law, policy, and security initiatives, supporting collaboration among European Member States on strategic and regulatory issues.
Her research examines how public institutions govern and collaborate around emerging technologies — including space, AI, and quantum — through innovative, cross-sector frameworks. Currently based in Geneva, she serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher on innovation ecosystems, coordinating EU projects that foster co-creation between academia, industry, government, and civil society.
As Co-Leaders of WIA-Europe Switzerland, Ntorina and Véronique aim to strengthen the local network, connect the Swiss and European space communities, and promote diversity and interdisciplinary exchange across the aerospace sector.
