Women In Aerospace Europe (WIA-Europe) is proud to announce its official partnership with the Council of European Aerospace Societies.
Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-Europe) and the Council of European Aerospace Societies (CEAS) have formally entered a new phase of collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening communication, exploring joint initiatives, and enhancing cooperation across the European aerospace community.
Â
CEAS is a European association founded in 2007 that unites eleven national aerospace societies and several major corporate members to promote dialogue and foster knowledge exchange through technical committees, specialist conferences, and the biennial Aerospace Europe Conference; it also supports scientific dissemination through its journals and maintains strong engagement with European institutions, industry, and academia.
Through this Partnership, CEAS and WIA-Europe commit to developing collaborative initiatives, joint events, and knowledge-sharing activities that benefit the wider aeronautics and space sectors. The cooperation aims to strengthen networks for women professionals, promote gender-balanced representation in scientific and technical forums, and support initiatives that encourage girls and young women to pursue aerospace careers.
This agreement marks a significant milestone in aligning efforts to support the aerospace workforce of today and tomorrow – enhancing representation of women experts, strengthening professional networks, and stimulating innovation across the European aerospace sector.
