Empowering all Women, in Space and on Earth

WIA-Europe Greece Regional Network Launch, Meet the Leaders

Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-Europe) is delighted to announce the official launch of the WIA-Europe Greece Regional Network, which shall be led by Athanasia Karagianni, Dimitra Paraschou, Ioanna Papageorgiou and Nikoletta Triantafyllopoulou with the support of a dedicated committee.

We are proud to witness the continued growth of our network across Europe, strengthening our presence and partnerships throughout the region.

Greece has a growing and active aerospace ecosystem with a strong presence of aerospace companies, research institutions, start-ups, and academic programmes. Despite this, women in the Greek aerospace sector have historically lacked a dedicated platform for networking, mentorship, and professional visibility, both within Greece and in connection with the wider European aerospace community.

WIA-Europe Greece will fill this gap by establishing the first women-focused aerospace network in the country. The network will serve as a national hub for professional development, advocacy, and outreach, connecting Greek women in aerospace with one another and with the broader WIA-Europe ecosystem.
