We are thrilled to announce a global virtual Women In Aerospace event this year, which will bring together members from different WIA organisations to celebrate the International Women’s Day 2021.
Hosted by WIA Canada, the event will feature three inspirational panellists and distinguished members of the global Women in Aerospace community:
- Nancy Barber, Chief Operating Officer (retired), Bombardier Aviation
- Pamela Melroy, Colonel (retired), United States Air Force
- Simonetta Di Pippo, Director, UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA)
The panel discussion will be dedicated to this year’s International Women’s Day theme #ChooseToChallenge, focussing on the role of women as a force for change and progress towards a gender-equal world.
It is further a fantastic opportunity to highlight the global dimension of the WIA network. Join us to celebrate women’s achievements and take action for equality!
