Le 17 janvier prochain, de 13h00 à 14h00, la WIA-Europe Paris a le plaisir d’animer votre pause de midi avec un événement en ligne.
Lors de cette visio-conférence, la co-présidente de la WIA-Europe Paris aura le plaisir de vous présenter l’ONG Cosmos for Humanity, qu’elle a co-fondé avec David Many.
L’ONG Cosmos for Humanity a pour ambition de sensibiliser le grand public et les acteurs économiques au développement durable des activités spatiales, tout en soutenant les projets innovants répondant à la problématique des pollutions spatiales.
En 2023, l’ONG a été mandaté par le CNES pour réaliser une étude sur « l’architecture d’une démarche visant à orienter l’écosystème vers des activités soutenables ». Au travers de cette étude, l’Outer Space Foot Print (OSF) un indicateur comparable à l’empreinte carbone mais applicable à l’espace a été développé, ainsi que le label Cosmos for Humanity. Ce sont ces deux points qui vous seront présentés lors de cet événement.
A la suite de cette présentation un temps sera réservé à un échange entre les intervenants et les participants.
Par ailleurs, la visioconférence fera l’objet d’une traduction simultanée du français à l’anglais par sous-titre.

On January 17, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, WIA-Europe Paris is delighted to bring your lunch break to life with an online event.
During this video conference, the co-president of WIA-Europe Paris will have the pleasure of presenting the NGO Cosmos for Humanity, which she co-founded with David Many.
The NGO Cosmos for Humanity aims to raise awareness among the general public and economic players of the sustainable development of space activities, while supporting innovative projects addressing the issue of space pollution.
In 2023, the NGO was commissioned by CNES to carry out a study on “the architecture of an approach aimed at orienting the ecosystem towards sustainable activities”. Through this study, the Outer Space Foot Print (OSF), an indicator comparable to the carbon footprint but applicable to space, was developed, as was the Cosmos for Humanity label.
These two points will be presented at this event.
Following the presentation, time will be set aside for discussion between the speakers and participants.
The video conference will be simultaneously translated from French to English by subtitles.
