The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the world’s largest aerospace technical society. With 33,000 individual members from 91 countries, and 100 corporate members, AIAA brings together industry, academia, and government to advance engineering and science in aviation, space, and defence. Founded in 1963, AIAA brings together engineers, scientists, researchers, educators, students, and industry leaders from around the world.

AIAA supports the aerospace community through highly regarded technical journals and publications, the development of industry standards, and the organisation of major conferences and forums that enable knowledge sharing and collaboration. The institute also promotes education, professional development, and public policy engagement, while recognising excellence and innovation across the aerospace field.

This partnership will bring together AIAA’s global networks across industry, academia, and government, and WIA-Europe and AIAA aim to strengthen cooperation and foster a more inclusive and connected aerospace community.
