Réka Szabó is an early-career space engineer and applied mathematician, currently working at CERN. She has gained international experience across research and industry, including traineeships at Wizz Air, the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research, and EUMETSAT. An alumna of several ESA Academy programs, she has co-authored publications in collaboration with GSI, ESA, and NASA. Within Women in Aerospace Europe, she serves as the Secretary of Grants & Awards and is the Founder and Leader of the Hungarian Regional Network, where she strengthens community, visibility, and pathways for young talent entering STEM and the aerospace sector.
