We are delighted to welcome Ernestina Binni and Nadia Del Corto Baradel as the new WIA-Europe Luxembourg Regional Network leaders!

Ernestina Binni became the Luxembourg RN leader in 2024, reactivating and reviving the Luxembourg Regional Network. Ernestina brings extensive expertise in thermal-fluid dynamics, systems engineering, and program management. With an academic foundation from the University of Pisa, she has built a diverse career across research and industry, including roles at Ferrari and Delphi, before transitioning into bid and project management at GomSpace. She currently contributes to the European Space Resources Innovation Centre, where she supports innovation and stakeholder coordination in the emerging field of in-situ resource utilisation (ISRU).

Ernestina is now joined by Nadia Del Corto Baradel, an Aerospace Engineer and Bid & Project Manager with over six years of experience leading multidisciplinary satellite projects across Europe. Currently at Thales Alenia Space, she manages bids and European consortium initiatives, including projects in digital space platforms, artificial intelligence, and space data centres. Multilingual and internationally educated, she brings a strong passion for satellite communications, global connectivity, and advancing innovation in space technologies.
