WIA-E Rome Local Group is please to invite you to the presentation of the book “Oltre le stelle più lontane” written by Amalia Ercoli Finzi and Elvina Finzi.
Elvina Finzi double degree with honors Politecnico di Milano and ENSTA in Paris, has earned a PhD in Nuclear Engineering. After working on applied research and special projects of a leading global appliance industry, today she is a senior manager for the largest lenses and glasses manufacturer in the world. She clearly sees the importance of aiming for true gender equality.
Together with her mother she published “Oltre le stelle piu lontane” (Mondadori, 2021) to remind girls that STEM disciplines are not only a “men’s zone”, but they can offer job opportunities and perspectives that girls should not miss.
The moderator of the event is Elena Toson, COO in Technology of Propulsion and Innovation (T4i), Independent Director in Cerved and member of the WIA-E Rome Committee.
