WIA-E Cologne: Battling Imposter Syndrome

Stacey Medvedeva is an experienced TV producer, marketing strategist, space communicator, brand strategist and ISU SSP19 alumnus. Having 10+ years in media, 9 years in the Aerospace industry – she knows how to solve branding, communications and visibility puzzles, and how to pitch an idea for anyone to fall in love with. Some of the most memorable moments of her space career include asking Elon Musk the viral question at IAC2016, interviewing the only living cosmonaut who trained with Gagarin – Boris Volynov, being within the first cohort of the ASCEND Space Traffic Management Diverse Dozen, and organizing one of the biggest Yuri’s Night events in the world in Moscow.

Imposter syndrome is something no one talks about in aerospace… but everyone experiences. Being able to face your imposter, speak to him and overcome – that’s a challenge taken up by the bravest of us.
