Women in Aerospace Europe is pleased to welcome Argotec as a new Silver Corporate Member.
Founded in 2008 by CEO and founder David Avino, Argotec has become an important player in the Italian and international space sector. The company is known for designing and producing high-reliability microsatellites and for contributing to pioneering deep-space missions in collaboration with international space agencies.
From its SpacePark facility near Turin, Argotec combines satellite manufacturing with strong engineering and scientific expertise. Argotec has worked on missions including ArgoMoon and LICIACube, becoming the first company to launch a satellite under Italyās IRIDE programme, coordinated by the European Space Agency. Alongside its operations in Italy, Argotec also has a growing international presence, including facilities in the United States.
Argotec places strong value on diversity, equity and inclusion, recognising that different perspectives help drive innovation ā something that closely reflects WIA-Europeās commitment to a more inclusive aerospace and space community.
With more than 300 employees and a growing international footprint, Argotec continues to contribute to the future of the space sector through technology, innovation and ambitious missions.
